Horse Creek Acres - Missouri | At Horse Creek Acres, you'll hunt only private property that we have the exclusive hunting rights on. We do not hunt any public property where your hunt could be interrupted by other hunters. In addition, we place only two hunters on each parcel of property. You two will be the only hunters on that parcel during your hunt. This policy, along with the limited number of hunts we book annually, assures compliance with our company philosophy of providing a high-quality hunt for low-pressured trophy bucks. Our Missouri operations are located in the Northwest corner of the state, in Gentry County, just a few miles north of the town of Albany. This is hilly, farm country, with corn and soybeans being the primary crops. Our various parcels of property have, and/or, are bordered by blocks of hardwood timber with creeks or small rivers running through them. Just as in Iowa, this habitat has proven very conducive to the production of Trophy Bucks and Long Beards. Lodging accommodations are provided in nearby motels, the cost of which is included in the price of your hunting package. Once you’ve harvested your trophy, we will assist you in retrieving it with our ATV’s, no dragging by hand for any distance. We will help transport it back to our deer hanger, where you can dress your deer and further process your venison. If you prefer, a reasonably priced meat locker is located nearby, where they can take care of your deer processing needs for you. In Missouri, you can hunt Whitetail Deer with a bow, a high-powered rifle, or a muzzleloader (in-lines and scopes are allowed) during the appropriate seasons.
Hunter orange is required for gun hunters which includes a cap or hat and a vest of solid hunter orange. Camo orange is not acceptable. See the Missouri Department of Conservation website for further licensing info and hunting regulations. |
